Fall is my favorite time of year with the horses… ☀️ 🍁 Not only because of the beautiful weather but because it’s a time to get to relax and reflect upon everything that the horses accomplished this year and start to get excited about what the future holds. All of our major championships are done for the year and we can now focus on the fun of introducing some new work and moving the young horses up to the next level, as well as continually striving to improve and grow our partnerships with our Grand Prix horses. Adrienne Lyle had only five days back in Florida following the Paris Olympic Games before she packed up horses and headed to Illinois for the U.S. Dressage Festival Of Champions. During her brief stin... We had a super week at the 2024 USEF Festival of Champions! 🤩 I am continually blown away by Zaunkonig and his amazing performances, and most importantly his great character. He has taken everything in stride in our first long distance show away from home, and he is just the happiest traveler, competitor and partner! 🥰 Thank you Heidi and everyone at Zen Elite Equestrian center for your incredible support and for allowing me to develop this special young stallion! 🙏🏻 Thank you Nicole for your excellent care of this special boy, and Katie Duerrhammer for doing such a great job riding him while I was in Europe this summer. I feel so fortunate to have such a super team! 💪🏼 And a big congratulations to Christian Simonson for having an amazing week and securing the title of National Brentina Cup champion!! 🥳 🙌 This is extra special for me, having the award named after my long time coach, Debbie McDonald’s special mount, having won it myself in 2008, having my student Quinn Iverson win it the past two years, and now passing the torch to our third generation of Brentina Cup champion in our barn! 💪🏼 🇺🇸 I could not be more proud of the hard work that Christian, and all my students, put into this sport. It is so awesome to see them developing into such great riders and horse people. 🥹👏🏼
